New Customer Review Architectural Plans

I needed plans drawing up and submitting for planning permission. Portal were very helpful from start to finish with my project. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted and they came up with some really good ideas which we discussed with them and together we came up with the perfect extension for us. Garage Conversion Wall upgrade

UPGRADE OF SOLID EXTERNAL WALL
To achieve min U-value 0.30W/m²K
Existing garage wall to be exposed and checked for its suitability. Insulate existing wall on the inside using 50mm Celotex GA4000 insulation board fixed to 25 x 50mm battens at 600mm centres to provide a nominal 25mm cavity between the masonry and insulation. Fix a vapour control layer on the warm side of the insulation. Finish 12.5 platserboard with a plaster skim. An injected DPC may also be required to the wall if one is not already present and working.
